Thomas Alexander are a group of creative and enthusiastic individuals all working together to make great design happen. Our work is poetic in its approach and pragmatic in its delivery, owing to the multifaceted set of skills the team has to offer. The open studio culture fosters creative thinking and design-led discussions within the team, encouraging every member to offer their input in order to establish the best possible design solution for a project.

Our Extensive planning knowledge and creative approach to new build design enables us to deliver maximum value to any prospective development site.

We rigorously assess each development site and establish all opportunities and constraints. We then develop a bespoke scheme which systematically responds to all the site constraints in order to deliver an innovative design which maximises the site potential, and unit numbers for our client’s.

Our thorough understanding of the project process is complimented by our close relationships with the design team, suppliers contractors and subcontractors at the planning, technical design and delivery stages.

We believe that great architecture is defined by the details, it is what makes each building unique. We put an onus on the finish and carry consistent architectural ideas of materials, rhythms, geometry and light, through to the smallest detail for a building of integrity. It’s what drives our design.

Our studio holds a penchant for research, for innovative solutions that are both beautiful and cost-effective.

As well as our in-house team, Thomas Alexander has a growing network of consultants, contractors, suppliers and specialists who all share our attention to detail and enthusiasm for design to deliver all projects as successfully as possible.

Our practice has built a strong reputation for our bespoke designs and sensitivity to materials and place, developing a diverse portfolio of projects in a short time.
