CAF Bank Ltd
CAF Bank Ltd was set up in 1986 by The Charities Aid Foundation in order to provide banking services such as current and savings accounts for the charitable sector. In 2012 it took the decision to start lending and is a significant players for loans to charities, not for profit organisations and Housing Associations.
To supplement its lending objectives it started lending to property developers on a small scale in 2015:
Criteria: 75% LTC, 65% LTGDV, 65% purchase price, 100% development and finance costs, 2 year term
Pricing: Interest at 5-7 above Bank of England Base Rate depending on the experiance of the client and the project. 1.5% arrangement fee with a charitable twist (contact us to find out more). Exit fee only payable if repaid within 6 months (1% if applicable).
